From 5–16 September 2026, Twende Duniani Season 2 – China Edition, an initiative of Malkia wa Nguvu, brought together Tanzanian businesswomen, businessmen, entrepreneurs and professionals for an immersive international business and exposure experience in China.
Led and coordinated by Liliane Masuka, Chairperson & Project Coordinator of Malkia wa Nguvu, the China Edition was designed to take participants beyond traditional tourism and into the heart of international business, trade, manufacturing, sourcing and global networking.

Building Global Connections
A key focus of the China Edition was creating direct connections between Tanzanian and Chinese businesses. Through B2B meetings, matchmaking sessions and business forums, participants had opportunities to engage with potential suppliers, manufacturers, partners and other stakeholders.
The Foshan–Tanzania Supply-Demand Matchmaking Conference was one of the key highlights, providing a platform for Tanzanian businesses to connect with Chinese companies and explore opportunities for trade and collaboration.
A Platform Built Through Partnerships
The China Edition was supported by CRDB Bank, Silent Ocean, UTT AMIS, Le Matrix and TanTrade, whose contribution helped strengthen the business, financial, logistics and trade dimensions of the experience.
More Than a Journey
For the participants, Twende Duniani China was not simply about travelling to China. It was about seeing how business is done at a global level, meeting the people behind the products, understanding new markets, building relationships and identifying opportunities that can be taken back to Tanzania.
For Liliane Masuka and the Malkia wa Nguvu team, the China Edition represents the continued evolution of Twende Duniani from an international travel experience into a platform for global exposure, business connection and opportunity creation.
