In its essence, Malkia wa Nguvu is transformative movement that seeks to harness and amplify the inherent power within every woman Through our pillars of Maarifa Camp, Tuyange Talks, Malkia wa nguvu awards and Gala dinner, plus business expos (Biz Expo).
Malkia wa Nguvu movements goes across Tanzania through different Zones (Regions) i.e Arusha ,Mwanza ,Shinyanga ,Mtwara ,Mbeya ,Dodoma ,Zanzibar and Dar es salaam .
At its core, Malkia wa Nguvu is driven by a profound recognition of the immense potential residing within Tanzanian women. It acknowledges the countless achievements, contributions, and resilience they demonstrate daily, despite facing numerous challenges.
OBJECTIVES
- Creating new market – through its vast media reach and influence Malkia wa Nguvu will foster women businesses across the country. This year Malkia wa Nguvu will empower Women in seven Regions across Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar, we are expecting to touch the lives of more than 15,000 women within a period of eight month.
- Creation of employment – with the growth of new market new employment will be generated hence eradicating unemployment problem.
- Increase productivity – with new doors opening for product and service it’s clear that productive will grow hence creating a strong value chain across the society.
- Unleashing new potentials among women – With the growth in business more women will be able to open up to new opportunities within their business or new ventures.
- Product and service promotion – Malkia wa Nguvu will provide extensive visibilities to product and service and will create a long-term promotion plan for identified women.
- Creation of interactive networking platform – Malkia wa Nguvu will provide a powerful tool for networking, market place and new market.
- Contribution to GDP – All these efforts will promote GDP growth and contribute to the development and improvement of different sectors such as health, education. And infrastructure to mention few.
ACTIVITIES/PILLARS 2024
- Maarifa Camp: A platform where by Experts shares, market insights and provide guidance to help participants improve their work and businesses mainly it’s a series of training session mainly for capacity building Through Practical workshops and Knowledge Sharing to authenticate women’s dreams .The camp covers topics i.e Sourcing capital and funds, business planning , marketing strategies ,financial management, and legal rights etc .
- Tuyajenge Talks: A platform for Validating women’s efforts and sacrifices through influential story telling by sharing their successful journeys, providing inspiration and practical advice. So as to foster a culture of support and recognitions.
- Malkia Business Expo: A platform for women entrepreneurs and our partners to showcase and promote their products and services to foster economic growth and empowerment. Here is an opportunity to network with potential clients and partners .
- Malkia Gala: A grand celebration to honour the achievements of women, featuring performances, speeches, and recognition of outstanding individuals.
